Fields

UK's Fields have been receiving a bit of buzz lately, and, after listening to the song they sent me, I can see why. They mix all this freak folk that is making a splash with a little bit of shoegaze. No, seriously. It sounds really weird, but they do. Their vocalists manage to sound like Devendra Banhart, but instead of the sparse arrangements they've got very lush freak folk. And sometimes they break down their arrangements into swirling noise like MBV or summat. Gotta love MBV. Seriously. The idiot who said "I therefore urge him [Kevin Shields] or someone with any power or influence in EMI to remaster Loveless" on Amazon is an idiot. Or no. That was stated. Um. Anyway, why is My Bloody Valentine's classic album not the first result when you put "Loveless" into Amazon? C'mon you guys. Oh right, the Fields. Here's thier myspace where you can hear some more sweet tunes, and here's the excellent song that they sent me's video. I'm not much of a video guy, but that's pretty cool. Here's the excellent song itself:
